unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you know that essential oils have been all the rage lately. i must admit that i am completely intrigued by the essential oil phenomenon.
i tend to get really passionate about things, but then get overwhelmed with how/where to start that i usually just never start. but the oils…they’re different.
i’m a believer that God gave us everything we needed when he created the earth; meaning that plants have great tools for keeping us healthy and such.
my cousin has been a believer of homeopathic care for as long as i’ve known her. i’m always so enamored by it. but honestly, once you start looking into it, there’s some great perks to going natural!
i jumped in with doTerra oils because that’s just what my cousin used. I got a few of the basics: peppermint, lavender, and lemon. then i moved onto a balancing oil blend and a digestive oil blend. we used the lavender at night like crazy, and i have to say i really could tell a difference in my sleep.
another big brand of these oils is young living. now, word on the street is that YL and Doterra used to be one company and then split into. so you’re really good going with either. they’re a little pricey from these two companies, so it’s worth looking at a third company called Plant Therapy.
these oils can be applied to the skin, ingested (some of them), inhaled or diffused into the air. i’m about to invest into a roller ball collection for my birthday. yes, i’m a dork.
but honestly, i cannot even begin to tell you how fascinated i am with this oil craze. so, i want to hear from you!
what are your experiences with essential oils? which ones do you love/hate? what are some noticeable differences you have after using essential oils?
